* Se Infecto Mi Canal - I wrote a letter to General Manuel Noriega telling him about my project and he wrote me back and suggested that I read his biography America's Prisoner . While reading it I coincidentally contracted an ear infection and the song correlates the infection of the Panama Canal to the infection of my ear canal. I used a quote from his book, "Vivo en la sombra del conquistador," or "I live in the shadow of the conqueror" and I sent him the lyrics to which he replied this in a second letter from Federal Prison in Miami .
